Malang is one of the beautiful city in Indonesia which have a good weather and beautiful
scenery, make it called a Kota bunga (flower city). Beside that, Malang is
known as one of the leading educational destination in Indonesia because many
universities and become one of the greatest
choice to study af. The most famous university in Malang is the university
Brawijaya, University of Malang, University of Muhammadiyah Malang etc.
Talk about culture in Malang, one of the famous culture is
Wayang topeng Malangan, but now Wayang topeng Malangan is hard to find because
of modernization. Topeng Malang is about
a traditional dance which is merge an east java, Madura and tengger’s culture. Although Wayang topeng
malangan hard to find but actually Malang has a building for appreciate Malang
people who want to keep Malang’ culture. The name of that building is Taman
Krida Budaya Jawa timur, in this place usually show some Malang’s culture like
Ludruk, Ketoprak Wayang, Kuda lumping etc. Malang also has the club of football, AREMA
(Arek Malang means Malang people). Every
time AREMA have a match, AREMANIA and AREMANITA (fans of AREMA) always watch
and support live.
After culture, we talk about food, snack and beverage in
Malang. Hmm yummy! Actually there are so
many foods in Malang, but famous food from Malang are Bakso (Meatball), Nasi Pecel, tahu telor. For
beverages we have Angsle, Es gandul, Ronde. For snacks we have Kripik Tempe,
Kripik buah. Every time people from the other city came to Malang, they want
kripik tempe in Sanan.
